Oilmen to Play Hounds in MCL Championship Series Whiting, Ind. – Aug. 2, 2018 – The DuPage County Hounds defeated the Bloomington Bobcats 11-10 on Thursday night to win two out of three in an MCL Semifinal Series. After DuPage County led 8-0 through six innings, Bloomington scored 10 unanswered runs to take a 10-8 lead. The Hounds responded with back-to-back jacks to start the bottom of the ninth, tying the game. They eventually scored a third run in the ninth to walk off with the win. With Thursday’s win, the Hounds advance to take on the Northwest Indiana Oilmen in the MCL Championship Series. Game 1 of the series will take place on Friday at 5 p.m. at the Lemont Sports Complex. The second game will be held at Oil City Stadium on Saturday at 5 p.m. If the two teams split the first two games, Game 3 will take place on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Lemont Sports Complex. |
