Kristin joins the Oilmen this the summer following her junior year at Purdue University Northwest. While at school, she is pursuing a degree in marketing and a minor in communications.
Kristin has always had a big love for sports, mostly because her mother worked for the Chicago White Sox. Growing up as an only child, she was always surrounded by friends and neighbors, which lead to a passion for helping kids.
Right out of high school, Kristin attended Ball State University for two years and pursued an elementary education degree. She then decided her passion for sports took over and came back home to Munster to start her degree in marketing at PNW.
Kristin looks forward to joining her passion for sports with her passion for kids as she is the main contact for the little leagues around the area as the community relations intern. She will be running the kids camps alongside other Oilmen interns for the summer. She hopes to take her knowledge and experience gained from this opportunity to follow in her mother’s footsteps and get a job with the Chicago White Sox.
