Nate joins the Oilmen during the summer following his junior year at Tusculum University. While away at school, the Geneva native is majoring in sports management while minoring in pre-law and business.
As a freshman and sophomore at South Suburban College, Nate was a member of the honor society and Phi Theta Kappa. He graduated with honors and received an Associates of Science. He was also a 2 x 2nd Team Academic All-American and a 2x 1st team All-Region catcher.
As a junior, he transferred to Tusculum University, located in Greeneville, Tenn. He was an All-Conference catcher. He also made the Dean’s List and the schools Honor Society. During the school year, he worked a variety of events like the Bristol for NASCAR and the University of Tennessee football games.
Nate is an alumnus of Geneva Community high school. He competed in baseball and wrestling for the Vikings. He received the Kane County Chronicle Excellence in Leadership Award in 2015. Nate was a two-time captain for the baseball team.
He is looking forward to the summer with the Oilmen, both on the field and as an intern. While balancing the two out over the summer, Nate hopes to improve his skills in selling and marketing for the club while also building relationships with individuals looking to get involved in the sports industry.
