Whiting, Ind. – July 12, 2014 – Saturday’s scheduled game between the Oilmen and DuPage County Hounds and Latin Night festivities at Oil City Stadium have been postponed. Major storms hit the Whiting area on Saturday morning and are projected to continue through the evening hours.

The game between the Oilmen and DuPage County will be made up on Tuesday, July 15 at 7:10 p.m. at Oil City Stadium. The nonleague game scheduled to take place that night between the Oilmen and Illinois Sparks has been cancelled.

A rescheduled date for the Latin Night event has not yet been announced. The Oilmen were scheduled to play 12 games in 10 days in an effort to compensate for games rained out earlier in the season, but weather is once again creating havoc on the Midwest Collegiate League schedule.

The Oilmen hit the road on Sunday for a 6 p.m. start against the Hounds. Following Monday’s doubleheader at Southland, the team returns home for Tuesday's game against the Hounds.
