WHITING, Ind. -- The Northwest Indiana Oilmen will look to rebound as NWI travels to Bloomington, Ill. to take on the Bloomington Bobcats on Thursday.

The Oilmen (2-2) will take on the Bobcats at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Ill. starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday.

The Northwest Indiana Oilmen fell behind early and were never able to recover as NWI lost to the DuPage County Hounds, 16-8, Wednesday. Donivan Williams (Oak Lawn, Ill./Illinois State) connected on his first home run of the season in the second inning. Noah Davis (Portage, Ind./Quincy) crushed a grandslam in the fourth inning to narrow the deficit but DuPage answered right back. Sam Geraci (Steger, Ill./Illinois-Springfield) suffered the loss for NWI. Nate Thomas (South Bend, Ind./Northern Illinois) made his Oilmen debut, going four innings, allowing three earned runs and striking out three.

The Bloomington Bobcats are coming off a 9-6 loss to the Southland Vikings on May 31. Garrett Shea and Jack Butler both connected on home runs for the Bobcats in the setback.

The Bobcats lead the all-time series between the two clubs, 5-2, including a 1-0 victory for Bloomington on May 27 when Nick Figus hit a sac fly to right, scoring Cossio from third.
